He pointed out that Map C had a precinct that crossed Highway 6 in the South District, which would make it difficult for voters on the other side of the highway. Councilor Laura Bergus said she thinks map A was the best option because of its ability to account for growth where it is expected in the city.Ĭouncilor John Thomas said he supported A because he was concerned about barriers to getting to polling places and how the precincts reflect the identity of an area. ![]()
